Create a supply delivery
Overview
This flow describes how to create a supply delivery in Care. The delivery starts as a Draft, and you add the delivered items in a separate step.
Pre-requisites
- You are a member of the facility that sends the stock.
- Your facility has the source location and the destination location.
- If you start from a supply order, someone raised that order at your facility.
- You have the permissions listed below.
Permissions

Steps
1. Open the outgoing deliveries list
Open the facility. Select a location. Select Inventory. Select To Dispatch. Select the Outgoing Deliveries tab.
Note: You can also start this flow from an existing supply order. The supply order fills in the name, the source location, the destination, and the tags for you.
2. Start a new delivery
Click Create Delivery.
3. Enter the delivery details
Complete the fields in the form.

| Name | The name of the delivery. |
| Note | More information about the delivery. This field is optional. |
| Deliver From | The location that supplies the stock. |
| Destination | The location that receives the stock. This field defaults to the current location. |
If you start from a supply order, Care fills in these fields. Confirm the Deliver From location. Confirm the Destination location.
4. Create the delivery
Create the delivery. Care saves the delivery with the status Draft.
Expected Outcome
- Care creates the supply delivery with the status Draft.
- The delivery shows in the Outgoing Deliveries tab of the source location.
- You can now add the delivered items to the delivery.
