Delete a schedule template

Overview​

This flow describes how to remove a schedule template from a resource in Care. Use it when the template is no longer correct. See Schedule & Availability.

Pre-requisites​

  • The schedule template is created in Care.
  • You can open the schedule of the resource.
  • You have the permissions listed below.

Permissions​

PermissionAccess
Can Create on ScheduleLets you delete a schedule template.
Can list schedule on ObjectLets you see the schedules of the resource.

Steps​

1. Open the schedule of the resource​

Open the facility. Go to the scheduling section and select the resource. See View schedule templates.

2. Start the deletion​

Find the template that you want to remove. Select the delete action on that template.

3. Confirm the deletion​

Care asks you to confirm. Read the warning, then confirm.

Expected Outcome​

  • The template no longer appears in the list of schedule templates.
  • Care no longer creates slots from the sessions in that template.
