Add items to a supply request

Overview

This flow describes how to add the products that you need to a supply request in Care.

Pre-requisites

• You raised the supply request at your facility. See Raise a supply request.
• The supply request is not Completed, Abandoned, or Entered in Error.
• You have the permission listed below.

Permissions

Permission	Access
Can Create Supply Request on Facility	Lets you add items to a supply request at the facility. Facility Admin, Admin, Staff, Doctor, and Nurse have this permission.

Steps

1. Open the supply request

Open the supply request that you want to add items to.

2. Start a new item

Click Add Item.

3. Enter the item details

Complete the fields for the item.

Components	What it captures
Product	The catalog entry that you request.
Quantity	The amount of the product that you request.

4. Repeat for each item

Repeat steps 2 and 3 for each item that you need on the request.

Expected Outcome

• The supply request holds the items that you added.
• The detail page of the request shows, for each item, the quantity requested, the quantity dispatched, and the quantity that remains.
