Receive and complete a supply delivery

Overview​

This flow describes how to approve a supply delivery, confirm the delivered items at the receiving location, and complete the delivery in Care.

Pre-requisites​

  • You created the supply delivery, and it lists the items that you send. See Add delivered items to a supply delivery.
  • You are a member of the facility that dispatches or receives the delivery.
  • You have the permissions listed below.

Permissions​

PermissionAccess
Can Create Supply Delivery on FacilityLets you approve, confirm, and complete a supply delivery. Facility Admin and Admin have this permission.

Steps​

1. Open the supply delivery​

  1. Go to the Inventory screen of the dispatching location or the receiving location.
  2. Select To Dispatch to see Outgoing Deliveries.
  3. Select To Receive to see Incoming Deliveries.
  4. Select the supply delivery that you want to receive.

2. Approve the supply delivery​

  1. Select Mark as Approved.
  2. Care moves the supply delivery from Draft to Pending.

3. Confirm the delivered items​

  1. Confirm each item in the supply delivery at the receiving location.
  2. Record the condition of each item as Normal or Damaged.

4. Complete the supply delivery​

  1. Select Mark as Completed.
  2. Care deducts the stock from the inventory item of the source location.
  3. Care adds the stock to the inventory item of the destination location.

Expected Outcome​

  • The supply delivery status is Completed.
  • The stock of the source location decreases by the delivered quantity.
  • The stock of the destination location increases by the delivered quantity.
